Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 16 September 2026

Requires review and approval by qualified legal counsel in the relevant jurisdictions before being presented as final contractual/legal documentation.

This Cancellation Policy explains how a Partner can cancel their AgentLane account, what happens during the cancellation process, and what happens to data afterwards. It supplements our Terms of Service.

1. Account cancellation notice

Cancelling an AgentLane account requires 30 days' written notice, given by emailing contact@agentlane.agency. The 30-day period runs from the date we confirm receipt of your cancellation request.

Account cancellation is handled by email only. No self-service cancellation flow is currently offered in the partner portal.

Your account remains active, and normal billing continues, for the duration of the notice period.

2. No Prorated Refunds

Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. We do not issue prorated refunds for partial months — if you cancel partway through a billing period, the Service remains available (and billable) through the end of that period, and no refund is issued for the unused portion. See our Refund Policy for the limited circumstances in which a refund is available.

3. Data Export

You can export your data at any time, including during the notice period and while your account is suspended before final deletion. Use Compliance → Request a data export in the partner portal (each of your Clients can do the same from their own portal). The export is a ZIP of JSON/CSV files, available to download for 7 days. You can also request one by emailing contact@agentlane.agency.

Phone numbers stay in the Twilio account that holds them. If a number is in your or your Client's own Twilio account, it stays there when you leave.

4. What Happens After Cancellation

Once your notice period ends, your account moves to a suspended state. During this time:

  • Your platform access is disabled, but your data is not yet deleted
  • Data export remains available (see above)
  • Your Stripe subscription is cancelled

Following the standard deletion grace period (30 days from suspension), your account, your team's user records, and your stored conversation history are permanently purged from our systems — user records are anonymised and credentials are deleted — consistent with the retention and deletion practices described in our Privacy Policy. The purge also deletes your Clients' end-customer conversations and linked booking records, consent and do-not-contact records, and any remaining export archives. Deleted data remains in database backups until they rotate out, within 14 days. Billing records are kept for as long as the law requires. If you wish to reactivate before the grace period ends, contact us at contact@agentlane.agency.
