Cookie Policy

Last updated: 13 September 2026

Requires review and approval by qualified EU/Spanish legal counsel before being presented as final contractual/legal documentation.

This Cookie Policy explains how AgentLane ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar storage technologies on our website agentlane.agency (this marketing site — our product portal at a different subdomain has its own separate session cookies, which this policy does not cover).

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They help a website remember your actions and preferences over a period of time, so you don't have to re-enter them whenever you return.

We also use similar technologies such as local storage, which serve a similar function without being sent to a server on every request.

2. What We Store

Without your consent, agentlane.agency sets no cookies. It keeps two strictly necessary or functional values in your browser's local storage, which never leave your device:

Key Type Purpose Duration
agentlane_cookie_consent Local storage (necessary) Records your choice from the consent banner Until you clear it or change your choice
agentlane:lang Local storage (functional) Remembers your chosen site language (EN/FR/AR) Until you clear it or change your choice

Legal basis: agentlane_cookie_consent is the mechanism that implements your consent choice, so it is set regardless of that choice. agentlane:lang is a functional preference, stored so you don't have to reselect your language on every page.

2.1 Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Limited, with Google LLC in the United States) to understand site traffic: pages visited, device and browser information, referral source and website conversion events. The Google Analytics script loads only after you choose "Accept All" or switch on the Analytics category. Choosing "Reject optional cookies" keeps it off.

When analytics is on, Google Analytics sets these first-party cookies:

Cookie Provider Purpose Duration
_ga Google Analytics 4 Distinguishes visitors Up to 2 years
_ga_<container-id> (currently _ga_F2NL9Z6ZRR) Google Analytics 4 Keeps session state Up to 2 years

To connect a visit on this site with a visit to our portal, Google Analytics may add a _gl parameter to links between agentlane.agency and our portal domain.

Google may process this data outside the EEA. See Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Google is listed as a recipient in our Privacy Policy and on our Trust page.

Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time (see §4). Withdrawing consent stops Google Analytics from loading on later page views and discards analytics events still queued in the current page. It does not delete cookies already set; you can clear them in your browser (see §5).

2.2 Marketing Cookies (Not Currently Used)

We do not currently use marketing, advertising, or targeting cookies. If we implement these in the future, we will update this policy and request explicit consent.

3. Third-Party Content

Our "Book a call" links take you to an external scheduling page (currently Calendly) on the provider's own domain. That is an outbound link, not an embedded widget, so no Calendly cookies are set on agentlane.agency itself. Once you follow that link, you're on the provider's site and their own cookie/privacy policy applies:

If we add an embedded widget (rather than a link) for any third-party service in the future, we will name it here and update the consent banner accordingly.

4. Cookie Consent Management

When you first visit agentlane.agency, you will see a cookie consent banner. You can:

  • Accept all: turns on the optional categories, including Google Analytics
  • Reject optional: keeps only strictly necessary storage; Google Analytics stays off
  • Customise preferences: choose each category separately

Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under agentlane_cookie_consent and respected on later visits. You can change it at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer.

We do not use cookie walls. The site works the same whichever choice you make.

5. How to Manage Cookies and Local Storage in Your Browser

You can delete cookies and clear a site's local storage in your browser settings. Clearing local storage removes agentlane_cookie_consent and agentlane:lang, which resets your choices. Deleting cookies removes any _ga cookies.

Browser-specific guidance:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → View permissions and data stored across sites
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data
  • Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data

6. Do Not Track (DNT)

Google Analytics runs only after you give analytics consent. The site does not currently read a browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Use "Reject optional cookies" to keep analytics off.

7. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in what we store or for legal compliance. Material changes will be notified via the cookie consent banner on your next visit.

Last material change: 13 September 2026. Added consent-based Google Analytics 4 and its cookies.

8. Contact Us
