AgentLane vs Synthflow, Vapi and White-Label Voice Wrappers: Which Should an Agency Resell? (October 2026)
Synthflow, Vapi, Retell and the white-label wrappers built on them sell voice AI by the minute. AgentLane sells finished text agents at a capped monthly price. What each costs, with sourced and dated figures, and where the voice stacks win.
By AgentLane Founder · Founder
Synthflow, Vapi and Retell are voice AI platforms priced by the minute. A layer of white-label "wrappers" (VoiceAIWrapper, Trillet and others) sits on top of them or on their own engines, adding a branded client portal and Stripe rebilling. AgentLane is a different shape: finished text agents, mainly missed-call text-back over SMS, at a fixed seat price with a hard cap. You build nothing, and you are not reselling minutes. If voice is your product, the voice stacks are ahead of us today. This post is for working out whether voice is actually what your clients need.
Every competitor figure below links to that vendor's own page and carries the date we read it. Where a figure we had seen elsewhere did not appear on the vendor's page, we left it out.
The landscape, as published by the vendors
| Vendor | What its own pricing page shows | White-label | Source (read 2026-10-27) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Synthflow | One plan, Enterprise: "contracts start at $30,000 annually"; no per-minute rate listed | Not mentioned on the pricing page | synthflow.ai/pricing |
| Vapi | $0.05/min Vapi hosting, model costs passed through at cost; Core $29/mo; Pro 10% of hosting with a $999/mo minimum | No white-label or reseller plan listed; multiple "organizations" per account | vapi.ai/pricing |
| Retell | "$0.07–$0.31 / min for AI Voice Agents" pay-as-you-go | No white-label dashboard listed; a Solution Partner Program | retellai.com/pricing |
| VoiceAIWrapper | Pay as You Go $0 base; Growth $79/mo (3 client accounts); Scale $499/mo (20 client accounts); native calling about $0.07–$0.31/min | Branded client portals on all plans; bring your own Vapi, Retell or ElevenLabs keys; client billing through your Stripe | voiceaiwrapper.com/pricing |
| Trillet | Studio $99/mo (1,000 min), Agency $299/mo (3,000 min); $0.12/min after; telephony separate from $0.014/min (US) | Logo, name and colours on both; own domain and per-client rates on Agency; connect Stripe to collect under your brand | trillet.ai/agency |
Two things stand out. First, Synthflow no longer publishes a self-serve or agency tier on its pricing page; any agency price you have seen quoted for it is not on the vendor's page today, so we have not used one. Second, the raw engines (Vapi, Retell) list no white-label plan on their pricing pages (as of 2026-10-27); that is the wrappers' business.
AgentLane, as published
From our pricing page, which shows what the API serves:
- Platform: Launch $149/mo, Professional $449/mo, Scale $999/mo; Enterprise from $2,500/mo, invoiced.
- Per live agent-client: $99 (Launch), $79 (Professional, 3 included), $59 (Scale, 10 included). One client on Launch is $149 + $99 = $248/mo.
- Included: managed AI on Google Gemini, no key needed: 5,000 AI credits per agent-client a month on Launch (catalog agents), 20,000 on the other plans. Executions are hard-capped at 2,500 / 15,000 / 60,000 a month with no overage charges.
- SMS goes out on your own Twilio account, which bills you directly.
- Voice add-on: $69/mo per voice-enabled agent-client, 300 minutes included, $0.20/min after, with the voice number and call minutes on AgentLane's Twilio. It is billed on your invoice, and voice is in controlled deployment.
Where the voice stacks win
- Voice is the product. They answer the call itself, in real time, at scale. Our agents text back after a missed call; our voice add-on is tested client by client before it goes live, and we don't present it as generally available.
- Price per minute. Vapi's hosting fee is $0.05/min plus model costs; Trillet is $0.12/min after included minutes. Our voice add-on works out at $0.23/min inside the 300 included minutes and $0.20/min after. On voice minutes alone, we are not the cheap option.
- Build anything. A voice platform lets you design any call flow. AgentLane has a fixed catalog of twelve agents, and we provision new ones only on request.
- Rebilling and your own domain. VoiceAIWrapper and Trillet list Stripe client billing, and Trillet's Agency plan lists your own domain. AgentLane invoices your agency, not your clients, and custom portal domains are not live: your logo and colours are on the client portal, but the address is ours.
- Bring your own keys. Wrappers let you connect your own Vapi, Retell or ElevenLabs account. We run the AI for you and do not take provider keys.
Where AgentLane wins
- No per-minute exposure on text agents. The seat is a fixed monthly fee and the plan is hard-capped. A busy month costs the same as a quiet one, apart from your Twilio SMS bill.
- You build nothing. Missed-call text-back is a code-defined workflow, not a prompt box. You fill in the client's details and we run it. Other catalog agents are requested from your dashboard and switched on after review.
- Rules enforced in code, written down. Every catalog agent has a capability contract in your portal: what it reads, what it may and may not do, how it fails and how it is billed. Opted-out callers are never texted, nothing is sent between 21:00 and 08:00 client time, and the first AI-written text carries an AI disclosure in English, French or Arabic.
- One vendor. No separate engine, model or keys to manage: platform, AI and agent are one bill from us, with SMS on your own Twilio account.
- Hosted in Frankfurt. Customer data is stored on our server in Frankfurt. AI inference runs on Google Vertex AI's global endpoint, so it is not EU-pinned; we say so on the Trust page.
What we don't claim
We are not a voice platform, not a phone system and not autonomous: missed-call text-back sends one text and says a human will call back. US texting starts only after A2P 10DLC registration on your Twilio account, which usually takes one to three weeks. We publish no customer results yet.
The decision
If your clients want a receptionist that answers the phone, and you are ready to design and support call flows, a voice stack (raw Vapi or Retell if you can build, a wrapper if you want the portal and Stripe billing done) fits better than we do today. If your clients mostly lose leads to calls nobody picked up, a fixed-price text-back under your brand is cheaper to run, has nothing to build, and cannot surprise you with a per-minute bill. See current pricing or read the missed-call text-back reference.

Frequently asked questions
- Is AgentLane a voice AI platform?
- Not primarily. AgentLane's agents work over SMS and email. A voice add-on exists ($69/mo per voice-enabled agent-client, 300 minutes included, $0.20/min after, billed on invoice), but voice is in controlled deployment: we test each client's call flow, transfer and fallback before it goes live. If voice is the product you want to sell, a voice-first platform is the better fit today.
- Can I bring my own Vapi or Retell keys to AgentLane?
- No. AI on AgentLane runs on our managed Google Gemini models, and the included AI credits are part of the seat price. There is no provider key to bring and no per-minute AI bill from a second vendor. Wrappers such as VoiceAIWrapper do let you connect your own Vapi, Retell or ElevenLabs keys.
- Do the wrappers bill my clients for me?
- The ones we checked do. VoiceAIWrapper lists client billing through your own Stripe account on every plan, and Trillet lists connecting Stripe and setting a per-minute rate per client. AgentLane does not collect money from your clients: you invoice them, and the portal gives you a monthly retail-versus-cost statement to do it from.
- Why would an agency pick text over voice?
- Cost shape and setup. A text agent has no per-minute exposure: AgentLane's seat is a fixed monthly fee with a hard cap, and SMS is billed by your own Twilio account. A voice agent bills by the minute and needs a call flow designed and tested. For a missed call, a text back within seconds is often enough to keep the lead.
